Nota de cata del enólogo de la bodega A very dry, warm vintage is now behind us. After it had not rained for most of the summer, harvesting began in early September, and progressed very quickly so as to avoid excessive alcohol and acid losses. We continue, this year, to develop a Venta d’Aubert Blanco to our liking, one that is expressive, charming and showing finesse. Also this year, we fermented part with spontaneous yeast. Half of the wine was fermented in new oak barrels, remaining on the yeast for 12 months, with regular light batonage. The wine seems, supported by its fresh yellow-greenish colour, at first rather light and delicate. To the nose, the Venta d’Aubert Blanco 2017 presents floral notes-blooming elderflower, pineapple and creamily sweet. Its taste notes are, as ever, invigorating, elegant and rich together. Exhibiting a beautiful spectrum of notes with varying facets, this wine is one moment conveying fine walnut flavours, at other moments, some turron, white nougat, slightly toasted almonds, tangerine, and passion fruit. The tongue can enjoy its long tail due to its pleasant acidity. This is a very elegant wine and one yielding continuously new facet about itself which are a delight to discover. La bodega
Desde 2013, en que apostamos en firme por el cultivo ecológico en toda la finca elaboramos vinos 100% ecológicos. Nuestra producción media es de 60,000-80,000 botellas por año, de las cuales más de la mitad se exportan al exterior. Nuestra bodega tiene capacidad para albergar 120.000 litros de vino en depósitos de acero y cuenta con 500 barricas de madera de roble. En la zona climatizada para botellas puede haber hasta 140.000 botellas envejeciendo. Cinco añadas de vino tinto maduran bajo tierra en las barricas o en la bodega climatizada en botellas. “Calidad ante todo” continua siendo nuestra meta. Las notas de cata obtenidas por los vinos Venta d’Aubert en la guía española “Guía Peñin” y las distintas medallas de oro ganadas en varios concursos internacionales de vinos ecológicos, demuestran la consecución de calidad y del trabajo orientado hacia una meta. |

Venta d’Aubert es pionera en la producción de vinos de alta calidad en el atarraña. La superficie de la finca es de 82 Ha de las cuales, 18 Ha están plantadas con cepas.
