Colour: A cherry red color with garnet glints. Clean, bright and intense in colour with a deep robe.

Aroma: On the nose it is powerful and complex. Toasted notes and torrefaction come through over a bed of jammy black fruit. Balsamic aromas are also prominent and fresh smells tickle the nose.

Taste: On the palate, the wine is dry, robuts and balanced. Noble, oaky notes with hints of black fruit and candied plums compliment the silky entrance. The finish is long and lingering. A wine with magnitude that will benefit from a few years of cellaring.

It is ideally suited to red and white meats, cured cold meats, stews and cured cheeses.
