Orujo Marrubio
orujo marrubio
View Phase:-Clean, without impurities, absence of fusel compounds that indicates a low utilization of tails.
Olfactory phase:
-Vegetal aromas predominate, hay, freshly cut grass and cane. Clear reminiscences of the raw material (orujo), which, although not varietal, does allow some fruit and flowers. The fruity aromas bring vague memories of stoneless fruits (pear, apple and even some banana skin). The floral aromas are reminiscent of violets. All these nuances make a pomace brandy complex on the nose, pleasant and in the olfactory phase.
Gustatory phase:
-On the palate, despite its high alcohol content (47% vol), it is not aggressive and persistent, allowing enjoyment and a long, slow drink. Light spicy notes and low sweetness. Harmonious, without edges, round.
Retronasal phase:
-It returns to show the same aromas as in the olfactory phase, therefore honest and persistent.
GENERAL IMPRESSION:
-Orujo of optimal quality, in which herbaceous and vegetable aromas predominate. Pleasant on the palate, with the characteristic warmth of the Aguardientes de Liébana. No noteworthy flaws. Perfect for the desktop and the gathering
